Fun with nCloth

LEARNING TARGETS:

»  I can implement the nCloth tool in Maya.
»  I can manipulate nCloth attributes for a desired result.

EXPECTATIONS:

»  You are to create 3 renders applying 3 different custom presets. 
»  Each cloth object should have a reflective material applied and rendered using indirect lighting. 
»  Describe each attribute change made and the results.
»  Write a paragraph: Come up with ideas of how you can implement nCloth into future projects.

Homework Assignment 1: Composition

 
 

Read article on composition:

http://www.morguefile.com/docs/Jodie_Coston:_Lesson_1
Take a minimum of 5 abstract photos based entirely on some of the compositional rules in the article.  Subjects should not be recognizable or barely recognizable.  In a Word document, paste a smaller version of the image and write a 3 -5  sentence explanation of why you think the composition makes a visually interesting image based on the article.

Meeting Tomorrow: You will Have a Sub

This is the second to last class before the exam. Students have to finish the Star Trek Phaser. This project is their final exam. The Star Trek tutorial can be found at 3DBuzz.com.
Students will receive the following:
Top Transmitter only (correctly done) 50%
And Base and Handle (correctly done) 80%
Full Model (correctly done) 95%
Final Render on a table (correctly done) 100%
